Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that the Opposition Congress is showing its mindset by finding fault with the clearance for the detailed project report (DPR) of the Kalasa-Banduri canal.
Speaking to mediapersons, he said that Kalasa-Banduri canal project will address the drinking water crisis in parched regions of North Karnataka. The Central Water Commission had cleared the DPR three days ago, he informed.
Bommai stressed that Congress leaders have not read the entire report and hence finding fault. Adding that he is not bothered about Congress’ comment, he said that the road is clear.
