Bengaluru: Three-day traffic restriction owing to Murmu’s visit

Bengaluru: The Bengaluru police have announced traffic restrictions and changes in the central Bengaluru region owing to President Droupadi Murmu’s visit to the city and the movement of dignitaries over the next three days.

The Raj Bhavan road, which is normally one-way, will be converted to two-way traffic between the Raj Bhavan and Thimmaiah Circle on September 26 and 27. There will be traffic restrictions between the Old Airport Road and the Raj Bhavan on Monday evening (through MG Road, Dickenson Road, Cubbon Road, and K R Road).

From 9.30 am to 11.30 am on Tuesday, September 27, there will be a traffic restriction between Raj Bhavan Road and the Old Airport. There will be restrictions in the area from the Raj Bhavan Road going to Langford Road and St. Joseph’s College, where President Murmu will attend an event, from 3.40 till 8.00 pm.
