Bengaluru: The fifth Vande Bharat Express of India has successfully completed its trial run. On Monday November 7, a test run between Dr. MGR Chennai Central Station and Mysuru through KSR Bengaluru was held.
According to the schedule, the train left the Dr. MGR Chennai Central railway station at 5.50 am and arrived in Mysuru at 12.30 pm after making stops in Katpadi and KSR Bengaluru, according to Railway officials.
The trial was crucial in helping the crew become familiar with how the train set and signal functioned. The training exercise made sure that the operators were familiar with safety measures like block working, level crossing gates, etc. As a result, it gave the onboard coach maintenance team information about the technical aspects of the train as well as various interior equipment.
The trial run was attended by the General Managers of Southern and South Western Railway, the divisional Railway Managers of the Chennai, Bengaluru and Mysore Divisions, as well as other senior officials and staff.
