Bengaluru: The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) on Monday November 7 has appointed Vinayak Sugoor, a Public Works Department (PWD) official, as the Chief Engineer of its projects cell.
He was earlier In-Charge of the redevelopment of roads in the central area (BenSCL) as Chief Engineer for Bangalore Smart City Ltd.
Other changes included the appointment of M. Lokesh as Head of the Mahadevapura Zone and Basavaraj Kabade as Chief Engineer of the BBMP’s stormwater drain department.
In light of the officials’ seniority, the BBMP modified the order issued by the Urban Development Department.
