Bengaluru: In a big relief to thousands of young unemployed who are working as pilots in the bike taxi service-providing companies, the state government announced that it is looking to regularise the service.
As of now, several companies are offering services without government permission resulting in a number of legal problems.
State Transport Department Commissioner N Shivakumar informed that he has written to the state government seeking permission and guidelines to regularise the services.
“We issued notice to several service providers in this regard,” he explained.
“Our proposal is under consideration at the Chief Secretary level,” he added.
