Bengaluru: Honnali BJP MLA Renukacharya said on Wednesday that he received a threat from an unknown caller and lodged a complaint to the police.
Speaking to mediapersons he said, “I received many calls from the same phone number. When I answered one of them when I was out of a shop, the caller said that he wanted to eliminate me.”
According to sources, his statement drew no instant response from the government or the police.
