Bengaluru: Chaos ensued after L Chandrashekar, the BJP’s candidate for the Ramanagara Assembly by-polls, resigned two days before the elections. Left with no candidates, the BJP has approached the Central Election Commission (CEC) to appeal for a postponement of the by-polls.

To this effect, an email was reportedly sent by the BJP SC Morcha National General Secretary, C N Ramu to the CEC on Thursday, November 1.

It has also been reported that a delegation of senior BJP leaders will meet with the CEC November 2, in this regard.
