Bengaluru: Members of BJP Yuva Morcha, Bengaluru City unit, on Saturday staged protest in front of CPM office at Mahalakshmipuram in Bengaluru demanding President’s rule in Kerala due to lack of law and order in that state.Speaking on the occasion, Sapthagiri Gowda, president, BJP Yuva Morcha, Bengaluru City unit, said there was no law and order in Kerala after CPM came to power. “BJP activist Remith was killed on Wednesday in the Chief Minister’s constituency. Till now Kerala government has not taken an initiative to order a probe. The police are yet to arrest the culprits,’’ Sapthagiri Gowda said.
Coming down heavily on the poor law and order situation in Kerala, Gowda said that around 300 incidents of violence took place since CPM came to power in Kerala. “Six Dalits were killed for working against the CPM candidates in the last Assembly elections. The murder politics started in 1969 by killing RSS sympathiser Vedikal Ramakrishna. I want the Kerala state government to take measures for protecting the lives of RSS and BJP activists,’’ Gowda said.
Around 250 members of BJP Yuva Morcha participated in the protest against political killings in Kerala.
