Bengaluru: Anything can happen at any time, informed the doctors of a 25-year-old woman who was attacked with acid by her lover.
IT was on April 28 that Nagesh Babu threw a half-kilo of sulphuric acid on the woman outside of the Sunkadakatte gold loan company where she worked . She suffered 36 per cent burns.
Babu was arrested at Tiruvannamalai, a temple town in Tamil Nadu, when he claimed to be a swami at an ashram.
St. John’s Medical College Hospital admitted the woman. She was in intensive care for several days before being shifted to the ward. However, she was taken back to the ICU.
