B’luru: City to face three-day power outage from June 27

Bengaluru: Bengaluru is likely to have power outages between Monday June 27 and 29.

According to the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM), the scheduled power outages will be used for maintenance works, tree trimming, cable laying, etc.

On Monday, the Koramangala Blocks 3, 4, 5 and 6, Sakra Hospital, and Salarpuria Sattva on the Outer Ring Road are likely to be affected between 11.00 am and 2.00 pm. Between 11.00 am and 5.00 pm, the following roads in the East Zone will be affected: Old Baiyappanahalli, Cookson Road, Davis Road, Richards Park Road, Oil Mill Road, Sadashiva Temple Road, Kamanahalli Main Road, KHB Colony, Hutchins Road, Wheeler Road, Banaswadi Railway Station Road, Lingarajapura, ITC Main Road, Jeevanahalli, and nearby places. The BMTC bus depot and Shankarappa estate will be affected in the West Zone, and ISRO Layout and New BEL Road will be affected in the North zone between 10.00 am and 5.00 pm.

Owing to maintenance and other work being done by the BESCOM on Tuesday June 28, areas in the East Zone will be affected. These areas comprise the 2nd and 3rd blocks of HRBR Layout, Kamanahalli and surroundings, and Banaswadi. These regions will be affected between 11.00 am and 5.00 pm.

On Wednesday, a few areas in the East zone will also be affected, including CMR Road, HRBR Layout 3 Block, Ramaiah Layout, Karavalli Road, and nearby areas. Most likely, work will be done here from 11.00 am to 5.30 pm.
