Bengaluru: Wipro Technologies has been ordered by a Bengaluru court to rehire an employee who was allegedly compelled to leave the company in 2018.
The employee’s full back wages, arrears of pay, and other dues and benefits were also directed by the 3rd Additional Labour Court to be paid. The employee’s alleged forced resignation occurred on March 2, 2018.
According to the Karnataka State IT/ITeS Employees Union, the man was compelled to resign for no particular reason.
