Bengaluru: A man has been held by Govindarajanagara Police for allegedly robbing houses to supplement luxurious life of his wife and kids.
The arrested has been identified as Imran (26) from KR Puram. In all, 147-gram gold jewellery worth Rs 8.5 lakh, 1.517 kg of silverware and a two-wheeler have been seized from him.
As he was a scrap dealer to take his wife to luxurious tourist destinations across India, he robbed houses.
There are theft cases registered against him at six police stations in the City.
