Bengaluru: The police has apprehended a teenager in connection with the murder of a footpath dweller near the Kamakshipalya bus stand held, recently.
The deceased has been identified as Sathish, and he was asleep when he was murdered. The assailant Sebastian allegedly murdered him by repeatedly assaulting him with a cement brick.
As per the police, Sebastian has brief history of resorting to robbery, and his target was mostly footpath dwellers.
It is said that the asleep Sathish got up when Sebastian tried to pick his pocket, and a fight ensued. In a fit of rage, Sebastian hit Sathish on the head with brick, and killed him. The murder is said to have taken place on February 23.
