Bengaluru: The Traffic Police in City will now be equipped with body cameras to monitor traffic movement. They have been given 2,128 such cameras.
This will help police to keep in touch with colleagues at various junctions across the City and camera live will assist cops in traffic diversion to alternate routes during emergencies.
The traffic police will be provided with Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras too for safe and smooth movement of traffic.
