Bengaluru: In an unfortunate accident, a woman employee at a plastic-processing plant at Chandra Layout in the City died due to a head injury after her veil got entangled in a machine.
The deceased has been identified as Shazia Banu (28). A resident of Gangondanahalli, Shazia’s veil got entangled while she was standing near a machine. As the veil got entangled she was pulled closer to the machine and as a result fell on it grievously injuring her head in the process.
she was rushed to a nearby hospital in an unconscious state. As she was further referred to Nimhans, she died on the way hospital, police sources said.
On complaint by Shazia’s family, the police has booked the factory owner for causing death by negligence.
