Bengaluru: To enable commuters to reach their final destination, Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has decided to integrate Namma Metro with other modes of public transport within 500 metres of its stations.
To implement this plan, BMRCL officials have identified at least five locations in the first phase where Metro lines are intersecting with major transit points. These include Yeshwantpur, Kengeri, Hebbal, Kempegowda International Airport and KR Puram. The plan to link Yeshwantpur railway station with the Metro line has been pending for long.
BMRCL has connected Majestic Metro station with the KSRTC bus terminal and KSR Bengaluru City railway station.
