Bengaluru: According to sources, the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) is planning to introduce Bharat Stage VI-compliant buses to its fleet.
On Monday December 20, BMTC officials informed that they had received 100 BS VI-compliant buses from Ashok Leyland and that they will receive another 50 this week.
The BMTC has issued the private transport company an order for 565 BS VI buses. The vehicles are being procured with the help of the State Government.
