Bengaluru: The state cabinet meeting which is scheduled on October 11 is expected to take few important decisions including advancing the budget date and holding state assembly sessions from November 7.
According to the sources, one of the issues listed for cabinet approval is, holding the session of the state assembly and council from November 7 at Suvarna Soudha of Belagavi. All these years, the cabinet was authorising the CM to fix the date.
Meanwhile, the cabinet is also expected to take a decision on holding special session of the state legislature this year as it is the diamond jubilee year of Vidhana Soudha.
Budget in February?
Meanwhile, according to the sources, the cabinet might take a decision on advancing the budget to February, keeping in mind the coming elections.
