Bengaluru: An engineering student was killed, and seven others were injured, after their car collided with an electric pole while overtaking an ambulance.
According to the sources, the incident occurred in Magadi, on the outskirts of the City.
According to police, they were on their way to Savanadurga for a trek. Akanksha Gupta (19), a native of Udhampur in Jammu and a fifth semester engineering student at a private college in Basavanagudi, has been identified as the deceased.
Ashish Raj, Divyansh, Ashutosh, Darshan, Yashovardhan Singh, Bhavya, and Williams were injured and taken to a private hospital. They are all students as well.
