Bengaluru: The CCB police have arrested former minister, industrialist and mining baron, Gali Janardhana Reddy in the Ambident group bribery case on Sunday, November 11.
Reddy has been at the CCB office since Saturday evening. After nearly 12 hours of grilling, Reddy was arrested on Sunday at 12.45 PM.
Immediately after his arrest, he was taken to Victoria hospital for a medical check-up. From there, he will be taken to Koramangala and presented before the judge.
The CCB has sought his custody for further investigation.
CCB had registered a case in the Ambident scam case on November 6, after the results of the by-election were announced.
