CD showing nude dance party at Doddaballapur resort creates uproar ; probe ordered

Bangalore : A CD depicting scenes from what is termed as a nude dance party at a resort near the famous Sri Ghati Subrahmanya Kshetra in Doddaballapur, has surfaced. The Karnataka Rakshana Vedike leaders who released the CD at a press meet at Doddaballapur on May 28, Tuesday alleged that apart from nude dance, other illegal activities too were taking place in the SR Valley Resort.

The Vedike has claimed that girls were brought to the resort from other states. Though the leaders released the CD they failed to say as to when the party took place. The CD showed as many as 10 girls scantily dressed and dancing. Some of the men too were seen in scanty clothes.

The clippings of the CD were aired by various TV channels creating a lot of stir while the valley authorities  claimed that the video footage was of an incident that took place four years ago  and that a complaint had also been lodged in this regard.

In the meantime, Central Zone IGP Amar Kumar Pandey has ordered a probe and assured action on the basis of the probe report.

As already reported, a nude dance party had taken organised in the  resort  by GVR Agri Chemical Company of Andhra Pradesh on October 9, 2009.  Following the incident the manager was sacked the owner himself had lodged a complaint.

Meanwhile,  locals allege the police had failed to act despite the complaint.The Vedike had also staged a protest then.
