Bengaluru/Panaji: Finally the Goa CM has consented to attend Chief Ministers’ meet on Mahadayi on November 3 after the earlier meeting scheduled on October 21 was deferred.
Goa CM Laxmikant Parsekar had written a letter to Mahrashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis expressing his inability to attend today’s meeting as he was preoccupied with several other programs. In the letter he had requested the Mahrashtra CM to defer the meeting by few days.
Finally with his consent the meeting is now likely to be held on November 3rd in the initial venue-Mumbai itself. The Chief Ministers of Mahadayi riparian states along with their team of irrigation experts and officials are likely to take part in that meeting on November 3.
The reports of calling off the meeting permanently have been put to rest with Goa CM’s consent.
