BJP is trying to continue Hitler’s legacy: Ramesh Kumar

Chikkaballapur: Former Karnataka Legislative Assembly speaker and Congress leader Ramesh Kumar has criticized the BJP and compared the BJP government regime with that of dictator Adolph Hitler.

Speaking to the media on Tuesday, December 24, he taunted, “Adolph Hitler, while taking his last breath, had said that there was no one to continue his legacy and restore his name. When looking at the BJP party and its leaders, it seems like they have promised Hitler that they would continue his legacy.”

Questioning the police firing incident in Mangaluru CAA violence, Ramesh Kumar asked, “In the name of CAA and NRC was it necessary to gun down two innocent lives? Who is responsible for creating a situation where people were not allowed to move freely? Is this the way you run the country? Such Bills and Acts will one day pose a huge threat to the nation. After having implemented the CAA, now the BJP government is left clueless as they have no answers to the questions on the Act and in-turn are blaming the innocents.”
