Chikkaballapura: Town Panchayat Chief Officer Shaba Shireen said that entry was prohibited to tourist destination located at a distance from the outskirts of Bengaluru, the Surasadmagiri hill in Gudibande as per the orders of the Deputy Commissioner from the night of Saturday December 31 till the morning of Monday January 2.
As Covid continues its fury in the country, the State Government has already implemented certain provisions for New Year celebrations and ordered precautionary measures to be taken.
Chikkaballapura Deputy Commissioner M. N. Nagaraj has imposed a ban on the famous Surasadmagiri Hill in Gudibande Taluk from the night of Saturday to Monday as a precautionary measure as the number of tourists will also increase as the New Year has falls on weekend.
