Chikkaballapura: Senior Division Civil Judge H. Lavanya said that the Lok Adalat scheduled to be held on November 12 should resolve disputes through conciliation and reduce the pressure on the court.

Speaking at the preparatory meeting of the National Lok Adalat organised by the Taluk Legal Services Committee and The Bar Association at the Court Hall in the town, she said that a compromise can be reached through your lawyers in the Adalat to avoid wasting time and money unnecessarily filing cases in the courts and wandering around, she said.

“Cases that have been compromised in the Lok Adalat are similar to those settled in the court. Disputes can be resolved quickly and at a very low cost. So that the equilibrium remains. She suggested that the relationship of the litigants would not deteriorate and that there was no need to pay a fee to the court, she added.
