Trekker Rescued By Iaf Booked Under Karnataka Forest Act

Chikkaballapura: A trekker who was rescued by the Indian Air Force (IAF) Brahmagiri Rocks near Nandi hills has been booked for trespassing under the Karnataka Forest Act. The authorities are waiting for him to discharge from the hospital before questioning him.

The boy identified as 19-year-old Nishank Kaul from Delhi, an engineering student in Bengaluru, fell into the gorge at Brahmagiri Rocks and was trapped. The youth soon shared his location through message to the police control room.

When police team along with the SDRF and NDRF could not rescue the youth, they contacted the IAF which rescued him and got him admitted to a private hospital where he is recuperating.
