Chitradurga: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Saturday October 22 said that he will soon be visiting New Delhi to meet with BJP Central leadership to discuss the Cabinet exercises. However, He did not reveal if the Cabinet will be expanded or reshuffled. He claimed that the final decision regarding who will be inducted into the Cabinet will come from the BJP High Command.
Responding to a question, CM said that he will soon be travelling to Delhi to discuss cabinet expansion.
When asked if the district’s seniors, who have received ‘step-motherly’ treatment, will be given opportunities, he responded, “It is not step-motherly treatment. Due to the political situation, representation could not be given (to Chitradurga), will try to give representation.”
To a question whether leaders who had resigned from the Ministry due to certain allegations (like K S Eshwarappa and Ramesh Jarkiholi) will be re-instated into the Ministry, he said, “I can’t respond to guess questions. All aspirants make attempts, but in the end, it is the High Command which decides,”
Responding to a question whether it will be expansion or reshuffle of the cabinet, he merely said, “wait and watch.
