Chitradurga: The Union Home Minister has given in-principle approval for setting up of an international model forensic science university in the state, said Home Minister Araga Jnanendra.
He was speaking at the constable’s exit parade at Aimangala Police Training School in Hiriyur Taluk on Wednesday December 14. In consultation with the Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, the necessary location for setting up this university will be decided and another discussion will be held with the Central Government soon.
He said that the Government has taken a serious view of the Police Recruitment Scam in the State and arrested people ranging from an IPS officer to a constable and sent them to jail.
