Chitradurga: Lingayat seer Dr. Shivamurthy Sharanaru on Saturday September 3 moved to the court seeking bail in the case involving the sexual assault of minors. According to sources, the seer has requested bail due to medical issues.
He is being questioned by police in Chitradurga Town’s Deputy SP’s office.
The plea for anticipatory bail has been made by the fourth accused, Paramashivaih. The public prosecutor has been given notice by the court to make objections, and the hearing has been adjourned to Monday. The court heard the anticipatory bail plea for accused number 3, a junior pontiff, who is now expected to file an objection to bail application on Monday.
