Chitradurga: A 40-year-old man died and four others sustained injuries after being struck by lightning in Hosadurga taluk here on Saturday October 23.
The deceased has been identified as Siddappa of Hosadurga town and the incident happened at Maragondanadibba Village when he was trying to take shelter from rains. The injured have been identified as Praveen, Thippesh, Kumar and Murali.
The injured are undergoing treatment in two different hospitals.
