Bengaluru: Halli Habba, a village Festival was celebrated at Freedom Park in Bengaluru on Saturday October 3.
Bengaluru district in-charge minister Ramalinga Reddy inaugurated the event and also tried his luck at a few rural games.
Several enthusiasts tried their hands at lagori, buguri, kunte-bille, aanekallu, haggada aata, pagade and kolata, among others. Visitors also got a chance to pound grains, make rotis and try their hands at pottery.
An array of handicrafts were also on display. Fun contests for men who flaunted longest moustache and women with longest hair, was also held.
It is a platform where Urban Folks can experience village traditions of different states.
