Classes I to V all set to begin from Oct 25 in Karnataka

Bengaluru: As per recommendations and permission of Covid – 19 Technical Advisory Committee, the Education Department in the State is all set to open schools for classes I to V.

The Government has issued certain guidelines that the educational institutions need to follow mandatorily. First of all, students can attend the classes only after due permission from the parents. Secondly, teachers should have two doses of vaccination compulsorily. Thirdly, the general guidelines such as masking up, and social distancing should be maintained in the class and school premises.

Speaking to media persons, Primary and Secondary Education Minister B. C. Nagesh said that it is not compulsory for students to attend offline classes.

Only 50 per cent of students should be seated in a class, and a metre’s distance should be maintained from student to student, it is stated in the guidelines.
