Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will lead an all-party delegation to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday to discuss the prevailing drought situation in the state.
The all-party delegation, led by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, would meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 7 pm on Friday.
The delegation includes Leader of Opposition in Assembly Jagadish Shettar, Leader of Opposition in Legislative Council K S Eshwarappa, JD(S) leader on behalf of H D Kumaraswamy and Appaji Gowda on behalf of Basavaraj Horatti, JD(S) leader in the Legislative Council.
All MPs and Union Ministers representing Karnataka and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge would attend the meeting. Minister for agriculture, minister for panchayat raj and rural development would accompany the chief minister to Delhi.
