Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for reducing petrol and diesel prices.
CM Bommai stated in a series of tweets that the cooking gas subsidy of up to 12 cylinders will be a benefit for women.

Over nine lakh Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana beneficiaries will receive up to 12 cylinders of subsidy, said CM. He also stated that this step will be a big boon to women.
