Bengaluru: ComedK authorities announced the results of the exam on the evening of May 27, a day premature to the initially announced date, for students across the country seeking admission to engineering colleges in Karnataka.
Unlike the CBSE and PU examinations, where the girls outshined the boys, this time it was the boys’ time to shine as the top 10 rank holders were all male. Three of these rank holders are Bengaluru based.
A student from National Public School, HSR Layout, Durbha Aditya bagged the first rank. He has expressed his interest to pursue studies in artificial intelligence.
The 5th and 6h rank holders were bagged by Nikhil S Pai and Pratik Sanjay Bhirud. 42 of the first 100 rank holders are from Karnataka
The online Comedk exam was held on May 13 and was taken by 62,306 students at 291centres located in 137 cities across the country.
More details, such as number of seats, fees and counselling dates will be notified by the Karnataka Examination Authority at a later date.
