Bengaluru: KPCC member M A Saleem has lodged a complaint with the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) against former DCM R Ashok over irregularities in the land allotment under the Bagar Hukum scheme.
In his complaint, M A Saleem has alleged that between 1998 and 2008, R Ashok led committee has sanctioned thousands of acres of revenue land to the rich under the Bagar Hukum scheme which is applicable only for landless poor.
M A Saleem has affixed a report prepared by the Bengaluru Urban district administration in this regard and said that all the rules were floated by R Ashok led committee while land allotment.
According to the ACB sources no FIR has been registered in this case. “We just received a complaint. We will consider filing FIR only after preliminary inquiry,” said an officer who is privy to the developments.
It can be recalled that recently few BJP leaders had approached the party high command stating that the Congress used the same report to pressurise R Ashok not to mobilise party cadre for the inaugural event of Parivarthana Yatra on November 2 in Bengaluru.
