Bengaluru: The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) is considering to release 30 manifestos for the upcoming state assembly election. As per the proposal, one manifesto each will be released to one district and 30 districts will get 30 manifestos.
According to the sources, the party manifesto committee led by former CM and MP M Veerappa M Moily met at KPCC office in the city on Sunday evening. According to the sources, in the meeting it was decided to send a team of four members to four revenue divisions of the state to collect public feedback on the issues faced by people of each district. “If everything goes as per the plans, every district will get a separate manifesto. It is according to the vision of AICC vice president Rahul Gandhi,” informed a committee member.
“As per the proposal, the manifesto will have two sections. The first section will be common for all the 30 districts. Section B will be separate from one district to another. This section will be hyper-local,” he said.
