Bengaluru: Congress Leader and Former Union Minister K. Rahman Khan on Saturday March 19 came down heavily on people who emphasised that only the Bhagavad Gita teaches ‘Dharma’ and Indian culture. He said all the religin and religious texts teach ‘Dharma’.
Khan was of the opinion that students should be taught all religious texts. New Education Policy under BJP is pro-Hindu, he alleged.
Siddu says ‘No Objection’
Meanwhile, Former Chief Minister and Congress Opposition Leader Siddaramaiah said that he had no objection on teaching objections to teaching Bhagavad Gita, Quran or Bible in educational institutions. The State Government has not taken a decision yet, he added.
