Bengaluru: Senior Congress leader, former minister and Chamarajpet MLA
B Z Zameer Ahmed Khan has tested positive for Covid-19.
According to his close associates, he was asymptomatic and decided to stay at home instead of getting admitted to a hospital.
Khan himself revealed his test result through a tweet.
He was found to be actively involved in the KG Halli and GD Halli riot talks and relief for the families that were affected by the violence.
Meanwhile, more and more people’s representatives are contracting the infectious disease. Chamarajanagar MP, former union minister and BJP leader V Srinivas Prasad also tested positive recently. He has been rushed from Mysuru to Bengaluru for treatment.
Hiriyur MLA Poornima Shrinivas, who is also a BJP leader, also tested positive for the disease.
