Bengaluru: Janasnehi Vidyuth Sevegalu, a scheme under which a new power connection can be availed within 24 hours through an online application will be introduced in the State. Energy Minister V. Sunil Kumar will launch this State Energy Department’s scheme.
A press release from the department states that the service will be available in all the energy supplying companies of the State, and to both domestic and commercial consumers with certain conditions. Also now it is possible to change the name of the owner of the installation within a day.
The services are available through both online/offline application modes. The status of application too can be tracked under the new system.
