Cops arrest 3 men trying to smuggle mobiles into prison

Bengaluru: Three people have been arrested for trying to smuggle mobile phones and sim cards into Parappana Agrahara Central prison on Friday, December 7.

The accused are identified as Suresh Babu, the owner of Raja Mutton Stall in Chamarajpet and his associates Imran Pasha and Rajendra.

The accused have been supplying meat to prison for the past 10 years. When they reached the prison on Friday, the officials stopped the van for routine checks and found a box attached to the chassis under the driver’s seat. Six mobile phones and six SIM cards were reportedly found in the box.
