Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Monday said that his government would not hesitate to take action against any official found to be involved in corrupt activities.
“The government will not hesitate to take action against any official found guilty of corrupt activities,” he told reporters replying to a question whether the government would take action against senior IAS officer Kapil Mohan, whose residence in Bengaluru was raided by the CID.
The raid was is said to have been conducted on the basis of information provided by some bookies arrested in connection with the cricket betting racket.
Kapil Mohan is now principal secretary to the department of Youth Services and Sports.
