Bengaluru: A miscreant allegedly defrauded a private firm employee and his wife by taking money to renovate their kitchen at their home in Pavamananagar, Konanakunte.
The victim, Guru Prasad, filed a complaint against the suspect, Maruti Naik on February 24.
On November 30, 2021, Prasad and his wife went to Naik’s office in Jambusavaridinne to have their kitchen renovated, informed police. Naik agreed to renovate the kitchen in exchange for Rs. 2.4 lakh.
He, on the other hand, only completed the plumbing and electrical work after getting the money.
