Bengaluru: Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) officials have informed that they will begin jabbing roughly six lakh children in the 12-14 age range in the City after completing the 15-18 age group.
The statement has come after the Head of the National Technical Advisory Group on Immunization (NTAGI) announced that India might begin vaccinating children aged 12 to 14 by March.
According to the CoWIN portal, 20,67,514 teens between the ages of 15 and 18 have been vaccinated across the State, accounting for 65 per cent of the targeted 31.75 lakh.
Within the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) limits, 2,26,803 of the targeted 4.41 lakh teenagers in the 15-18 age group have been vaccinated, accounting for 51 per cent of the target population.
