Bengaluru: Minister for Small Scale Industries M. T. B. Nagaraj has been questioned by Moodabidri MLA Umanath Kotian for the delay in developmental works in his constituency.
MLA Kotian said in the Assembly on Friday March 11 that despite repeated requests to Nagaraj, he has been neglecting the issue, he expressed his grpuse. “Only 18 staff out of the 40 are working in the Bajpe Town Panchayat. The junior engineer comes once a month. All this has been causing a delay in development works and on top of it, the Minister has no time to talk to me,” he stressed.
However, Minister Nagaraj clarified that he treats all the legislators with respect and looks after their needs.
