Demands rise for Eswarappa’s resignation: BJP Leader Arun Singh slams Cong

Bengaluru: BJP National General Secretary and State In-charge Arun Singh on Wednesday April 13 has slammed the Congress for demanding Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister K. S. Eshwarappa’s resignation. The Congress has been stressing on the Minister’s resignation over the alleged suicide of a contractor.

Speaking to mediapersons Arun Singh pointed out to rapes and atrocities in Congress-ruled Rajasthan. He condemned the Congress demand for Minister’s resignation.

Meanwhile the Minister has refuted the charge, and so far has refused to resign. “I will tender my resignation only if Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai asks for it,” he has said.

Contractor Santosh Patil died by suicide in Udupi on Tuesday April 12 after blaming Minister Eshwarappa for his death.
