Bengaluru: In relation to the 2008 incident, where a lady doctor had allegedly cut the private part of a man for reportedly leaving her and marrying another woman, the doctor has been sentenced to 10-year imprisonment on Friday, December 13.
The victim (former lover who is also a doctor) and the accused lady doctor were in a relationship.

According to the investigative reports, both lady doctor and her former lover had fallen in love when they were practicing their profession. They had also decided to get married, but their family members weren’t happy with the decision. Accused doctor had invited the couple to her clinic and had a friendly conversation. Later, she offered them some beverage, which was laced with sedatives.
When both fell unconscious, the accused cut off formers’ private part, it is said. As he began to bleed profusely, the accused doctor herself admitted him to the hospital and escaped.
According to the victims’ advocate Shailaja Krishna Nayak, Syeda had attempted to kill her former lover in her clinic located at Koramangala eighth stage.
