Bengaluru: “The Karnataka Lokayukta is dead and its office is nothing but a haunted house because there is no one there” said freedom fighter H S Doreswamy on Saturday October 10, addressing a launch of an anti-corruption helpline.
After inaugurating the anti-corruption helpline (93425-22223) by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) at the Press Club, Doreswamy made comments over the recent Karnataka Lokayukta corruption case.
Meanwhile, as part of the bribe-free Karnataka campaign to be organised from Tuesday till October 17, the AAP is holding the week-long campaign in the city. The helpline will be active on all government working days between 10 am and 6 pm.
The party will reach out to selected sub-registrars and RTO offices to ensure efficient service is being rendered to public.
