DPI issues guidelines for physical classes to be held.for I-V students

Bengaluru: The Department of Public Instruction (DPI) has issued guidelines for restarting the physical classes forstudents between classes I and V.

As per the guidelines, between October 25 and October 30, classes will be held only till the afternoon. There will not be mid-day meals. However, full day classes will resume for these students from Monday November 2.

According to the guidelines, attendance is not mandatory. Consent letter by the parents has been made compulsory for all the students.

The teachers above 50 years are asked to wear face masks while taking the classes. All the teachers, and school staff are asked to take both the doses of the vaccine, compulsorily.

It can be recalled here that since March 27, 2020, schools are shut across the State due to Covid – 19.
