Bengaluru: With the idea of helping the donors and activists to launch various initiatives like spoken English, computer training etc without any bureaucratic hassles in the government schools, the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) has decided to launch a dedicated app through which the permission will be issued to the interested.
“Presently, one needs to complete a lot of procedures to get permission. To avoid this inconvenience, we decided to launch this app. CM BS Yediyurappa will launch the app soon,” said Suresh Kumar, Primary and Secondary Education minister.
He also announced that 33rd academic district will be created soon by bifurcating Kalaburugi academic district
Kumar informed that the department submitted a proposal seeking Rs.530 crores to take up repair/reconstruction of the school buildings damaged in the recent flood. Rs.199 crores have been released already.
